Anyone wanting to purchase a club hoodie can do so direct from Wangaratta Embroidery. The navy hoodie is of good quality & is around $35 with the club logo on the front $6.50 & on the back $12.00. The club also has club gear going cheap including the warm up jackets.

Major Events for 2010
Wangaratta Cycling Club has been given the rights to host the 2010 Victorian Junior Road Championships on 24th & 25th July.
We also have the Border Zone final of the Schools competition on the 20th July.
For Masters we are hosting the Masters IRTT Championships on 12th September.
Pencil these dates into your calendar; we will be looking for volunteers to assist in running these events as in previous years.

Race Clothing
This is just a reminder that riders at open events are expected to wear their club uniform, plain clothing or registered sponsored clothing only. CSV plan to crack down on this so please ensure that if you race in clothing other than the Wangaratta Cycling Club registered club uniform you either wear plain or registered sponsors clothing only, this will save you from any embarrassment at an open where you may be told to change your uniform or turn it inside out or race starker's!. There is a list of sponsored clothing and riders who are registered to wear alternate clothing on the CSV website, make sure your name is there if you think you are sponsored.

Bunch Rides - Every Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays
These rides are not organised by the Wangaratta Cycling Club and therefore don't carry the insurance component a sanctioned race or club event would. It is provided to know where to get out on your bike with known bunch rides around the area. Riders meet at D'Amicos carpark on the corner of Vincent Rd and Greta Road at 7.55 am and depart at 8am every Saturday & Sunday mornings. Most rides range between 60 - 90 km, have an average speed of 30 kph and try to have a tail wind home, finishing off with a coffee and cake in Wangaratta afterwards.
You need to have a road bike (in good condition), spare tube, pump, drink bottle, a couple of dollars for coffee and look the part! No flat bars, BMX's or Penny Farthings!
